For residents, family and staff of American House Milford, July 25 was cause for celebration. More than 200 people gathered together to host a flag-raising ceremony at American House Milford, commemorating a year’s worth of renovations to the building.
The ceremony was done in tandem with the Milford Chamber of Commerce’s ribbon-cutting as a rededication to the community. American House acquired the Milford location in May 2012.
Among the most notable additions to Milford include the addition of a full-life enrichment program on the campus, on-site personal care services, a commercial kitchen, new coffee bistro and an updated dining room.
To help dedicate the building, local dignitaries from the Milford area stopped by to lend support. Among those in attendance were State Sen. Mike Kowall, State Rep. Eileen Kowall, members of the Milford Chamber of Commerce and Joe Salvia, of U.S. Rep. Kerry Bentivolio’s office.
“I think we had a chance to do something really special with the community of Milford,” explained Rob Gillette, CEO of American House. “Holding a flag-raising allows us to not only to rededicate the building, but also to recognize our veterans and our country.”
Celebrating the grand reopening of this newly renovated community is just one of the many ways we have to make memories with our residents. Call us today at (248) 579-4422 or visit www.americanhouse.com to find out more!
