After graduating from Grand Valley State University and working with non-profit organizations including the Visually Impaired Center in Flint and as a Community Director for the March of Dimes Kate joined American House in 2007 as an Activity Director.  She loved working with the senior residents so much that she embraced the opportunity to become Executive director.  "My work here at American House Grand Blanc is truly one of the most rewarding jobs I have ever had," Kate notes, inviting visitors to "come in for a tour, because I am so proud of my staff and our community."

From Flint (north of Grand Blanc): take I-75 south to exit 108 Holly Road. Turn left on Holly Road and drive 1.7 miles. On your left you will pass Trillium Movie Theatre, Merrill Lynch, National Self Storage and then you will see American House Grand Blanc on the left. If you’re coming from Metro Detroit (south of Grand Blanc) take I-75 north to exit 108 Holly Rd. (NOTE: exit 98 is also Holly Road – DON”T TAKE THAT EXIT!) Turn right onto Holly Road and drive 1.6 miles. On your left you will pass Trillium Movie Theatre, Merrill Lynch, National Self Storage and then you will see American House Grand Blanc on the left. From the Holly/Fenton area: take Silver Lake Rd. east until it turns into Grange Hall Road. Turn left onto Holly Road and drive for 7.8 miles. After you cross I-75 you will pass Trillium Movie Theatre, Merrill Lynch, National Self Storage and then you will see American House Grand Blanc on the left.
