Hazel Park Senior Living provides Independent Living with assistance available.*

Our apartment homes include spacious 1 and 2 bedroom floor plans, each with a living room, complete kitchen, private bath and French doors to a patio or balcony. We also have freestanding 2 bedroom, 2 bath cottages.

Property amenities at Hazel park include our dining room, theater, game and craft rooms, library and much more. Our Social Director plans a wide range of cultural, social and recreational activities and trips. Resident Services include wellness staffers, and scheduled transportation. Laundry and housekeeping services are also available.

We get boxes of cards that a volunteer brings in from the varying local casinos.  The cards come 52 in a box, but they aren't the right 52 cards.  We sort through the cards until we can put a complete deck back into each box.  The completed decks end up getting shippped in care packages to U.S. servicemen twice a year.

American House Hazel Park Senior Living Executive Director

MARINA OLTEANU

Executive Director | 11 years experience

Actually, with Marina's lifelong commitment to working with seniors, her years of experience date back even further. She started volunteering in nursing homes at the age of 13. Marina joined American House while completing her degree in Business Administration, working at our corporate offices, then going on to experience four different locations in Assistant Director and Executive Director positions before coming to Hazel Park. Holding industry certificates including Fair Housing and Low Income Tax Credit Housing, Marina's sums up her dedication with, "I have always loved working with seniors" a fact to which her Hazel Park residents can attest.
