Kelly Lawton
Executive Director | 11 years experience
Kelly's entire life has been lovingly spent with seniors beginning with her Great Grandmother—whom she can remember playing games with and preparing lunch for—to her Grandmother, whose life she is still very involved in today. When Kelly began working after graduating from Oakland Community College, the natural choice was to work with seniors. She joined the American House family in 2006 as an Activity Director and was quickly promoted to Assistant Director, and then Executive Director for American House Oakland. Being a part of a vibrant senior community is what gives Kelly her purpose and direction as evidenced by her personal goal—to go to work every day and improve the lives of "her" seniors.
