Darlene knows American House living because she has served our residents in so many professional capacities at three locations in her American House career. She began at one of our Sterling Heights locations in dietary/nutrition... then worked as an office Weekend Manager... then enriched resident's lives as the Activity Director, before earning a promotion to Assistant Director, at one of our Clinton Township locations... and, today caring for families as Executive Director at American House Elmwood in Rochester Hills. A proud grandmother herself, Darlene notes, "it's a career I love because of the residents."

Take I-75 South to M-59 East, Exit #77A. Go 3 miles and exit Crooks road. xit #44. Turn right going South on Crooks road. You will pass McDonald’s and Wendy’s on the right. At the light at Auburn Road, turn right going West. Go 2 ½ blocks and American House Elmwood is on the left side of the street.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take I-75 North towards Troy. Exit on Crooks Road, Exit #72. Turn right onto Crooks Road. and go North 2.6 miles. Pass Auburn Rd. and make a U-turn going back on Crooks Road going South. Turn Right onto Auburn Rd. going West. Go 2 ½ blocks and American House Elmwood is on the left hand side of street.
FROM THE EAST
Take M-59 (Hall Road) West towards Rochester Hills. Take Exit #44 Crooks Road. Take a left on Crooks Road heading South. You will pass McDonald’s and Wendy’s on right side of road and then C.K. Diggs Restaurant is on the North West corner of Auburn Road. Turn right onto Auburn Rd. Go West 2 ½ blocks and American House is on the left hand side of street.
FROM THEWEST
Take 696 East to I-75 North (then follow directions from the South).
Take M-59 (E. Huron St.) East toward Rochester Hills. Take the Crooks Rd. Exit #44. Take a right on Crooks Rd. going South. Go past McDonald’s and Wendy’s. At Auburn Road (C.K. Digg’s restaurant is on the North West corner of Auburn Rd.) take a Right. Go 2 ½ blocks and American House Elmwood is on the left side of street.
