With the new school year approaching, that means homecoming season will soon arrive.

For high school students in need of a homecoming dress — or even one for special occasions — Sparkle Network’s Dress Into A Dream Homecoming Dress Sale Program will begin next month.

The dress sale program allows high school students to try on dresses for the homecoming dance. The dresses are sold for $10 each, and buyers can purchase more than one outfit. Dresses are available in all sizes and lengths.

Some of the donated dresses are gently used, while others are brand new. Some attire was donated from Macy’s at the Somerset Collection in Troy.

The support of local businesses helps the success of Sparkle Network.

“We are excited to partner with Sparkle Network for this event,” said Dina Kelly, senior vice president of sales and marketing of American House. “At American House, community means everything to us, and being able to support local students to ensure they can have a fun night was simply an opportunity we didn’t want to miss.”
