These communities are at the top of the Holleran National Benchmark for senior living organizations across the country. This is a prestigious honor which requires achieving a score within the top 85th percentile of Holleran’s benchmark for each category. A proprietary algorithm, developed by Holleran’s highly trained statisticians, researchers and analysts, determines Choice Community Award recipients.
American House President, Jeff Floyd, was both proud and honored to earn nine Choice Community Awards, stating, “American House places extreme value on the resident/family satisfaction and engagement survey results we receive through Holleran. Earning the accolades of a Holleran Choice Award demonstrates our commitment to building strong relationships between team members and those we serve. Though no surprise, I am thrilled that the teams achieved this award.”
Holleran has the largest benchmark of its kind, measuring both resident and employee engagement and satisfaction in the senior living space. Currently, the benchmark comprises more than 216,000 resident and employee surveys, from over 685 organizations across 34 states, DC and Canada, all completed within the last three years.
"We are excited to recognize the Holleran 2025 Choice Communities," said Christine Walley, President of Holleran. “This prestigious recognition highlights the incredible work being done to cultivate strong, meaningful connections within communities. It reflects the dedication of organizations that prioritize the engagement and satisfaction of both their employees and their residents, understanding that when both are supported, the entire community thrives. We are proud to celebrate these outstanding achievements and the profound impact they have on building environments where people feel valued and engaged."
American House has been serving seniors since 1979 and has over 60 thriving communities nationwide. From the perspective of Jodie Audia, VP of Life Enrichment and Cognitive Programming at American House, “Gaining the distinction of the Holleran benchmark not only justifies our ongoing commitment to the seniors in our care, it also allows us valuable insight into how we can continue to improve the happiness and well-being of our residents.”
